Fringe event! Bring your fluffy dice as all girl punk rock band Legless
launch the video clip for their Holden Torana inspired new hit single
“Sayonara.”
Get a laugh with Comedian Lehmo and a panel of experts and enthusiasts
who will discuss SA hoon laws, the proposed Adelaide Motorplex and other
pressing issues to do with high performance vehicles, stereos and car
culture here in Adelaide. The night will also showcase top local bands
and Djs, including Jackson Firebird, Mad Charlie, & Squeaker.
WHY “REV IT UP”? Legless member Amanda Emblem explains...
"Music and motoring are the perfect companions when it
comes to the new Legless song 'Sayonara' and the latest pressing issue
effecting motor sport in South Australia.
"Adelaide Motorplex Consortium is a group of businessmen dedicated to
bringing a multi-disciplinary Motorsport facility to Adelaide. For the
past two years negotiations have been ongoing with the Government to
secure a location within Adelaide for them to either buy or lease from
the Government.
"They are being backed by a multitude of dedicated individuals, clubs
and businesses who are passionate about bringing world class Motorsport
within reach of most of the population of Adelaide. Legless are strong
supporters of the Motorplex. The girls were been invited by the
Adelaide Motorplex consortium to play on the back of a truck at the
protest rally in October. The band has filmed the adventure for a
music video for Sayonara. Legless and the Adelaide Motorplex consortium
invite NOVA 91.9 to come on board with the cause by supporting the 'Rev
It Up' event at HQ Complex."
